Intervista a Lucilla Vendrame
Abstract
This article presents an interview with Lucilla Vendrame, who worked alongside Massimo Fagioli in the earliest stages of his career. The interviewee shares her personal and professional experience as a social worker in the early 1960s: first at the psychiatric hospital in Venice, and later, in 1963, within the therapeutic community at the Bellevue Clinic in Kreuzlingen, alongside Massimo Fagioli.
Her memories highlight the originality of Fagioli’s approach in leading the therapeutic community for psychotic patients, particularly the introduction of psychotherapy groups. Through episodes from daily life with patients, the interview offers a vivid portrayal of a unique therapeutic experience.
