Translating Death instinct and knowledge into Chinese
Abstract
Translation from one language to another is always possible. However, this operation can present problems related to several orders of factors. The authors intend to propose here a contribution addressing some issues relating to the translation of Death instinct and knowledge, taking as a specific case the attempt – still in progress – for a complete translation into Chinese. The aim is to prove how the sense of Fagioli’s work can be rendered “perfectly” even in a language so remote from his own, helping to demonstrate that the contents of Human Birth Theory can and must be translated into any human language.
